Welcome to the internet home of the Calgary Association of the Romance Writers of America®.
The Calgary chapter (#201) – affiliated on June 25, 2003 – is thrilled to be part of this vital organization of more than 10,000 writers.
We’re a dynamic group of approximately 60 writers (12 of whom are published) who come together to share our experience, strength and hope. Our purpose is to help our members become published, then establish and build careers in romantic fiction. We provide continuing support for each other, both within the industry and within our chapter.
Our meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, every month of the year, whether it’s a holiday or not. Please check out our site and feel free to drop in for a visit if you’re in the city. Visitors are always welcome!

With chapters across Canada and the United States, one in Australia and a variety of special interest and online chapters, RWA® provides networking and support to individuals seriously pursuing a career in romantic fiction.
