Meet your peers, share information, tidbits, celebrate, commiserate and talk about the wonderful world of being a writer

Saturday workshops generally run from 9:30 to 4:00 with 90 minutes for lunch. They feature a published author who leads the group on a particular topic.

In the past, we’ve had Carolyne Aarsen and Linda Ford speak on : Punching it Up – How to up the Stakes in Your Writing. In September, Cara Colter spoke on Characterization: Making Your Characters Real People.

In November of 2003 Jane Wallace offered: Contests – The Good, The Bad and the Golden Heart. We learned how to judge contests and how to decide which ones to enter.
