Membership includes attendance at chapter-sponsored events, The Writers Saddle (our newsletter), discounted conference and workshop registration, email loops, and writing programs such as Book in a Week (BIAW), Brainstorm Your Book (BYOB), Matchmakers, and Quick Crits.
CaRWA chapter dues are $60.00/year.
Members must join Romance Writers of America® prior to joining CaRWA.
HOW TO PAY FOR A CARWA MEMBERSHIP USING EVENTBRITE
1. Click the link provided in promotional emails, or on the website on the upcoming program or membership link. (Click the following link http://calgaryrwa.eventbrite.com/)
2. Select the appropriate ticket type. (Select New Carwa Membership)
3. Enter any discount codes (members’ discounts, prizes you’ve won at past events) you may have at the time of registration. Codes cannot be applied once payment is made.
4. Complete any forms required with your registration.
5. Check out and pay with your paypal account or credit card.
6. You will receive a confirmation email and receipt.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS AND COUPONS FOR RENEWING MEMBERS:
1. Membership Renewal is open on Eventbrite.
a. Got to http://calgaryrwa.eventbrite.com/to renew your membership
2. If you’ve already renewed on the CaRWA website (paypal) but didn't register through Eventbrite,
a. you MUST also register on Eventbrite
b. Go to http://calgaryrwa.eventbrite.com/and click on PREPAID membership. The price will show as $0 – you will not have to pay again!
3. Renewing members who want a discount on the spring workshop and who have not yet renewed:
a. renew through Eventbrite http://calgaryrwa.eventbrite.com/BEFORE registering for the Mary Buckham workshop.
4. Members who have already renewed membership though Eventbrite
a. Lawna will be sending you an email with a discount code to be entered at the time of registration for a workshop
THE MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL COUPON CAN BE USED EITHER FOR THIS WORKSHOP OR OUR FALL WORKSHOP. IT CANNOT BE USED FOR FEES OR OTHER GOODS OR SERVICES.
